Whistleblowing – how to develop an effective system for reporting irregularities?

The issue of fraud and irregularities within the company remains the subject of a heated debate, especially at a time when the market situation has forced employees to work outside the office and face-to-face meetings have largely moved online. Entrepreneurs should already be familiar with available and effective models and systems for detecting and reporting irregularities in their organizations.

We would like to invite you to an online seminar in German entitled: “Whistleblowing – how to develop an effective system for reporting irregularities?”, during which experts will discuss, among other things:

  • regulations resulting from the European Union Directive on systems for detecting and reporting fraud and irregularities
  • current whistleblowing solutions offered on the market, as well as their strengths and weaknesses
  • challenges of implementing a whistleblowing system
  • guidelines for designing an effective model for signalling irregularities.

Grzegorz Gajda, legal counsel, head of the Poznań office of Baker Tilly Woroszylska Legal, will open the meeting with a lecture on the concept of the  whistleblowing which is gaining in popularity. Participants will be able to benefit from the experience of our expert and other speakers, find answers to their questions, and address their concerns about the whistleblowing system in companies.

The online meeting (in German) will start at 10:00am on 09/11/2020. It will be hosted by the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.*

More information about the event can be found on the organizer’s website.

Those wishing to take part in the seminar should register by September 3, 2020 at the e-mail address bb@ahk.pl.
